"He was charged with one federal count of possessing ammunition. Spires was not charged federally with possessing a firearm because the gun was manufactured in Ohio. The bullets in the gun, on the other hand, were manufactured in Illinois and Idaho, making it a federal crime."

(This guy was a convicted felon and was in a bar. His friend decided to dance and ask him to hold his gun while he did. He forgot he had it, got in a fight, and it fell out. Told the judge he was too drunk to remember it was a crime for him to have one...)
