but there have been a number of posts here today highlighting commentary from the religious right regarding the autopsy. Their ramblings make about as much sense as my reply.

about all the clowns who said she "responed to visual stimuli" like Frist, for instance? It appears that the Florida DCF discretely removed the report from their fundy doc from their website. No signs of abuse (of course). Schiavos are "contemplating unspecified legal action." Maybe they can get the Repukes in congress to pass a law nullifying the autopsy results.

see the thing where the docs and dentists in Congress want to help in an emergency? Triage would be based on faith-based considerations, I'd bet (i.e., the Dems get treated last.) I wouldn't let a Repuke look at an ingrown toenail.

4. Yes, it's all adding up

Again, with our media, I'm not necessarily holding my breath. But...

It's all about money, which breaks down to ratings. And I firmly believe that the DSM is the new "story" that's going to dominate headlines for a long time to come. The press will denounce its master, so to speak, for the increased ratings. And, of course, the master's poll numbers are going down, so there's nothing like jumping on the lord of the manor while he's down.

Again, maybe its a stretch, but when I saw the DSM story from the LA Times on page one of the Dallas Morning Rag, I thought "the times they are a changin'." Please, God, make it so.
