According to Dana Bush and CNN ...
the Bush administration has a perception problem regarding the environment.

That Cooney's move from the white house to Exxon is the equivalent of Clinton officials who also went into private business. i.e., Bob Rubin went from Treasury to Citibank.

According to Dana Bush, "critics complain" that he changed environmental reports. Did Dana Bush offer specifics so the viewer could judge what changes were made so they might consider themselves "complaining critics" or not? No.

Then the issue was muddied further by statistics of how many congresscritters have gone from govt to business over the years.

All in all CNN did an excellent job of damage control for the white house. There was no way this story was going to be kept under wraps, so in a typically Rovian maneuver, spread the bullshit so its difficult to see through it.

Congratulations Dana Bush and CNN, for winning today WarmStreamer of the Day award.

1. You got that right...talked to a friend last night who has AAR via
satellite and is hungry for the stuff we get here at DU. She knew nothing about DSM, Sensennbrenner, etc. She starts off the conversation talking about the girl in Aruba. :eyes:

It's amazing that even people who WANT to know and who are aware that things are bad, don't get the news.

3. Lots of people don't listen to even MSM news info and don't read papers
either. My son is like that, but he's lucky, the guys he works with keep him very well informed! My guess is that he is NOT the exception, but is the rule. He's 36, and between work, keeping house, taking care of 2 kids 6 & 8, he doesn't have time, nor make any for such things as TV.
