You know who I miss the most in our troubled times?
Martha Mitchell. In the Nixon administration full of swine, she was the one decent woman of courage and conscience. She was on to their game and they had to drug her and drag her name through the mud.

At a time we all hear so much about mark Felt, I wanted to pay tribute to this brave woman to whom we owe so much.

Martha, rest in peace and thanks for what you have done.

1. You're right, nice tribute.
I remember she had to make calls from the bathroom and she was treated horribly

3. She was an amazing woman.
She ALWAYS had something to say and they just never knew when she was going to say it. ;) She was such a lively character! I had forgotten all about her! Thanks for reminding me of sweeter days. Days when people weren't afraid to give an opinion about our government.

Rest in Peace, Martha.

5. Martha was the truthteller
She ended up dead, her husband went to the slammer, and I've always believed they killed her.

The Martha Mitchell Effect is named after her, and, as a clinician, I think it's a pretty damn fine - and lasting - tribute to a great woman.

She did good.

6. What better tribute to a human being than to say She did good?
