Franks led the U.S. invasion into Iraq, then quickly retired to write a vanity book and cash in on the war. At the book signing, SPFP member Jim Marvin confronted Franks directly about the hypocrisy of the war and his greed in turning a quick buck. The whole confrontation was recorded by a WMNF volunteer reporter and the crowd of Sam's Club shoppers looked on in amazement as Jim was led from the store by security chanting, "Tommy Franks you can't hide! We charge you with genocide!" We need to continue to hold the leaders of this invasion accountable for their actions and let them know that retirement can't shield them from their responsibility for this illegal war.
