You know that feeling you get as you watch a big storm approaching?
The muted thunder and the electricity in the air. The ozone smell. Calm air interrupted by frequent gusts that smell like fresh rain. The quickly growing thunderhead that looks alive and angry. You just know in about 10 minutes it's going to let loose and get really nasty.

You know that feeling?

I feel it right now.. and it's a beautiful, cloudless night.

The forecast for tomorrow is thunder and lightning in the vicinity of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Take cover BushCo, this is the big one.

4. I love the build-up to storms, then I love the storm itself...
Thank you for that beautiful imagery!

Let's hope lightening strikes -

5. storm
I remember the first big storm of winter. Growing up in Los Angeles, many a smoggy summer were finally swept away by a winter Pacific storm. Anticipation of change, a cleansing of the air and a widening of previously obstructed vistas.
