Best site to monitor US war dead?
I was using this one http://icasualties.org/oif/ but I can't believe that the toll went from 1702 on Monday to 1714 today, with nothing on the news.

3. It really did go up that fast - and NPR has been covering it
Other news sources are probably covering it UP.

That is the best site - very comprehensive, they check and cross check everything between news reports, CENTCOM releases, etc.

6. Yo, frogbison. The "news" is RIGGED. It's a FRAUD.
It took me nearly ten years to learn that what I see on the "news" shows is only what some corporation wants me to see. And if there's something they don't want me to see, it damn well stays off TV.

icasualties.org is your best bet. I use it to update the bulletin board in my office every morning. It currently reads KIA: 1714 (+6 in 24 hours) WMD: 0. It keeps the Republicans around here REAL quiet. Neither they nor the Alleged Media want to be reminded of the human cost of bu$hler's Great Adventure.

7. That's great about your office bulliten board.
I'm putting the numbers on the back of my car. Thank you to all who wrote. I just couldn't believe such a change and, yes, I did hear on NPR about the 5 Marines and one Navy today. It will be a black, black day if NPR's funding gets cut.

8. Believe it
And believe you've got no ally in the corporate media.
