At the WH rally today, there were the usual "counter" protestors, and they all had American flags.

I saw one American flag in the hands of one of our protestors. We need to show those people we are patriots too.

Just like you can't get people to join your side if you bang on drums and smash windows in your Che shirt, you can't win everyone over with peace flags and "IMPEACH THE WAR CRIMINAL" signs. We need to prove our mainstreamness.

Just my opinion.

It's OUR flag - every American's. If we didn't give a shit about what it stood for, we wouldn't bother to show up protesting.
