The President's Problems
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/06/16/eveningnews/main702480.shtml

CBS) After his election victory, President Bush said he had earned political capital and he planned to spend it. But six months into his second term, that capital appears to be all but gone.

In a CBS News/New York Times poll out Thursday, more than half the public disapproves of the job he's doing. And it gets worse from there:

Only 39 percent approve of his handling of the economy.
Only 39 percent approve of his handling of foreign policy.
Only 37 percent approve of his handling of the war in Iraq.
Only 25 percent approve of his handling of Social Security.

Only the campaign against terrorism gets the approval of more than half those questioned. The biggest drop off is among Americans aged 30 to 44. In just the past month, his approval rating in that group has fallen 14 points.

10. MIHOP made it happen and LIHOP let it happen referring to 9/11
The so called tin :tinfoilhat: foil people (conspiracy folks) have said that the Bush Jr. Administration either caused or knew about 9/11 because the day before 9/11/01 Mr. Bush Jr. showing in the polls were at a low 40% and no recovery in sight. This gave Mr. Bush Jr. a major boost in his poll ratings (high 80's) to the point nobody could question any of his policies. This is now wearing thin with the general public because Mr. Bush Jr. and Crowd are not right wing as they claim, they are ultra-right wing and this will only go so far in the United States of America (historical fact).

9. The Bush Empire Is Tanking And It's A Real Pleasure To Continue......
watching his approval numbers dwindle away. We will hope for single digits in the polls before his reign of terra is done.

12. The really amazing thing
is that we're supposed to believe he actually won the election fair and square.

His approval rating was just below 50% for months leading up to the election. It's only gotten worse since then. In any other country, a leader with ratings this low would be facing rioting in the streets.

14. I would like to know who these 39 / 37 / 25 % are. I mean, his buddies
can only account for maybe 5% of the population. Who are the rest of these nutjobs? 37% are pleased with his handeling of Iraq? There are only so many people making money off this and it's not 37%.
