As decent people recoil from the Bushes, it must become clear that they
do not represent any constituency in the country other than religious nuts, Right Wing Extremists, War Profiteers, Racists and assorted scoundrels with their own axes to grind.

When that realization hits home, they will unravel faster than we can imagine now.Even the GOP will self destruct after throwing in their lot with these unscrupulous people.

1. Decent people have been recoiling from the bushes for years.
They're called liberals, progressives, and Democrats. ;)

3. There were many decent people, Republicans included who bought
into the Terrorism Story with which Bush sold himself. They are the ones who will turn away now.We have been there for a long time.It will feel good to welcome other decent folks.

2. This is exactly why....
I can't be around some of my family members as much as I used to...they cling to this admin and I can't stomach that. And when I'm around them, it is so hard to avoid talking politics, because even something as simple as the high price of gas can lead to the kinds of conversations I'm trying to avoid, to keep some semblance of peace and respect.

Then there is the uncle, a born-again who I once lived with and considered a father figure, who thinks all muslims are evil and that the Media is still liberal. I haven't seen him in 6 months.

6. I am in the same situation.
Friends and family. They get the property and business owners by promising lower taxes and less regulation from a smaller government. They get those workers by promising safety and a roaring economy. They deliver to neither group.

4. they really only represent the profiteers
they are criminal conmen and thieves

they are exploiting those other constituencies

they don't represent anything or anyone except their own greed.

5. McCarthy was asked "Sir have you no decency?"
and it brought him down. But times have changed. Today though, that same question has little power. Bush could be asked and he could respond "Decency? Don't know what ya mean, what's yer point?" And people wouldn't bat an eye.

I don't believe that people are unaware at this point...I believe that they just don't care.
