A cool little detail on Conyers
if you look at his website, he had legendary jazz bassist Ron Carter and also Issac Hayes performing at functions...

MBF likes that...

2. That gives me an idea for fundraising and political activity.
What if somebody who is knowledgeable in Jazz organized get togethers with the Congressman and any other people on our side with an evening of Jazz as a bonus.People will enjoy it, it will raise funds for what the Congressman wants to do and issues can be debated and ideas generated. Any takers?

4. See Conyers blog where he thanks DU!!!!!

Thanks to Democratic Underground

A commenter in an earlier thread pointed out that I had been remiss in thanking the activists at Democratic Underground for a while. I have corrected that oversight. From Ohio to Downing Street, they have always been there when it mattered.
