I'm watching CNN and they said that the Americans intend to privatize the Iraqi economy which includes the health care system...

I am a welfare state liberal and a nominal capitalist but has the PNAC crew lost their minds....

Iraq lacks the infrastructure as well as the historical framework to be a liberal democracy with a market based economy....

They should look to that fellow conservative, Edmund Burke, who said "men of intemperate minds can never be free."

God save us from the PNAC cabal....

1. The theory being that our health care system in the US

has worked so well that we should impose it on other countries?

P.S.: Pay no attention to the millions of Americans who cannot afford access to basic health care and the millions more who are paying out the ass for what health care they do have.

2. Iraqis will have the freedom to buy all the health care they can afford

Just as Americans do!

This will also help to reduce the population to make securing the oil facilities easier for the Crusaders!
