We see a lot of 'em in our upper middle class suburb...kids who've had limited exposure to the world other than what they've seen on MTV and "had to read once for a class". They've enjoyed a comfortable life where one doesn't ask questions and the world is a black and white, us vs. them kinda place. Real sad.

Many have grown up in a world very much shaped by television...which has perpetuated stereotypes and created a myopic view of the world...one that has created what we commonly call "sheeple". During the DSM hearings the former intelligence officer (Mcgovern?) pointed out how the sycophants had risen to the top in the CIA ever since the Reagan era. The intern from the Heritage foundation will go far. The intern programs is basically a "yes sir may I have another" fraternity for the kiss up kick down crowd.

Her most profound statement was, "like, the people they introduce you to for networking. She had no articulated understanding of the issues discussed, but I bet she's skillful at the fundraiser dinner.
