By his simple act of walking over the petition to the WH gates,
John Conyers exposed the fraudulent Pretender for what he is.A coward who hides from the people. Can anyone imagine Bush being able to do the same thing anywhere in the country without an army of bodyguards and sniper rifles at the ready to protect him from the people?

I would like to see both Senator Byrd and John Conyers tell the Emperor he has no clothes. That would electrify the nation.

9. Reminds me of that flower which takes 14 years to bloom
and when it does, it smells like rotting flesh.

It's always lovely having such brilliant visitors!

Me, on the other hand, I have no self-restraint.

11. Why are you excited to have a criminal administration in
power that has had more resignations of diplomats, career generals, and so forth than any administration in the history of this country?

My advice... stop drooling over Lush's lies and get a clue.

12. Senator Byrd has apologized many times for his past.No need to bring
it up after so many years. John Conyers was never a part of the Keating Five. What are you talking about?

16. Lest you forget
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 09:18 AM by journalist3072
Sen. Robert Byrd was very wrong to be a member of the Klu Klux Klan, but unlike those on the right with racists past, he actually learned from his mistakes! Imagine that!

Sen. Jesse Helms, one of your fellow Rethugs, remains unapologetic for his racist history. In his upcoming memoir, he says that integration was forced on this country by "outside agitators who had their own agendas."

So before you come on here attacking Sen. Byrd, know your own party's very racist history, thank you kindly!

18. No need to thank me....
I'm just trying to educate an Rethug who obviously doesn't have a clue. They don't believe in the facts. They don't even know their own history, for crying out loud, because if they did, they would know better than to come on here and attack Sen. Robert Byrd. And as an African-American, I'm not defending his past KKK affiliation by any means.

But the Republican Party sure doesn't have any morale high-ground on that issue. I use Sen. Jesse Helms' quote from his memoir, as Exhibit A.

20. Oh, yeah, he surely did, didn't he?
What a distinguished leader, hiding behind the curtains from some of his country's finest citizens.

He might be laughing himself sick about it, but he'll be the only one.

22. I remember that very well. Every single act like this he pulls, remains in
our collective memory and as the tsunami of our anger builds up against this cowardly impostor, he is going to feel the impact soon.
