Did I hear this correctly?
During the week, Franken was reading from what appeared to be a public document related to the sex harassment suit that was settled out of court by Bill O'Reilly.
In the document ( I believe it was a letter from O'R. to his accuser intimating that bad things would and/or could happen to her if she did not drop this complaint), O'Reilly referred to Franken, intimating that bad things ( the clear implication was "violent" things) would and/or could happen to Al Franken for running afoul of O'R and a third party ( Roger Ailes?).
1. Can anyone fill-in the details?
2. I'm not a lawyer but isn't there prima facia evidence to support a civil and/or criminal case here?
3. If the answer to #2 is yes, couldn't a motivated prosecutor, if jurisdiction, etc, could be established, pursue this to to see if laws on terra or Franken's civil rights were violated.
4. Does this sort of thing... the apparent existence of a , well, terrorist conspiracy, rise to the level of importance such that it should come to the attention of the Homeland Security apparatus?
It could have all been a weird dream but it's the first and ... I hope the last ... dream about one Bill O'Reilly. Ugggh!
