Bernie Sanders amendment debate on BookTV/C-SPAN2

Description: On June 15th, Representative Bernie Sanders (I-VT) introduced legislation to amend section 215 of the Patriot Act, which deals with the federal government's ability to obtain sales and lending records from bookstores and libraries. Following Rep. Sanders' remarks, the amendment was debated on the floor by members of the House of Representatives. The amendment eventually passed with the support of 199 Democrats and 38 Republicans.

1. Glad the amendment passed...
Georgie boy isn't going to be too happy about this. They say he'll threaten it with a veto.
