I think Bush is cracking. The pressure is caving him in
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 09:53 PM by CatWoman
This idiot is now saying that we are in Iraq because we were attacked on 9/11.

Isn't he sending "mixed messages"?

He lies so much, he's now having trouble keeping them straight.

1. America will buy it. And he can count on Rove to instill martial law when
the time is right. If LIHOP/MIHOP is real, then they can do it again. Not all will like it, but they don't care what we think; they've even said as much. (so much for a democratic republic; try fascist empire instead.)

26. Martial law wont happen. Just sit at home and lettin the country crumble
to hell in a handbasket, thats where I will be, sitting on my ass doing nothing, and no work will get done if we all just do it.

No taxes, no work, no nothing.

They want Martial law you say?

I say shut the damn country down cold, if they declare it!!

What are they going to do? Make you go to work at the point of a gun?

Hah !!!

2. He's not the only one.
So long as they try to maintain the frequency of these press confrences, he'll keep digging the hole he's in.

But Rumsfeld also slips once in a while, all it takes is the right set of questions and an open invite to keep talking.

4. Bringing up 9/11 shows how desperate he is.
If nothing else works, talk about 9/11, when Everything Changed. Not that Iraq had anything to do with it, but the Chimperor thinks 9/11 is the magic word. Saying 9/11 is like clicking your ruby slippers three times and saying "There's no place like home." He thinks it's gonna get his sorry ass out of the sling being woven by the leaking of Downing Street minutes.

Isn't this illogical and stupid, even for him? Not that the corporate media would ever point it out. I haven't listened to the man speak in two years. Does he really say things like this?

It's getting to the point where people are going to roll their eyes and say, "Oh, Gawd, not that excuse again."

I think bush's September 11 capital, like his political capital, is down to spare change.

Polls at 42%, do I hear the rumbling of 38% coming this way?

21. As he gets closer to being impeached, his handlers will have him say or
do anything to keep that from happening.

Bush isnt cracking, he hasnt the brainpower to do so; it's the puppetmasters behind the sceanes, like Rove, that are breaking at the seams with all the lies and election fraud that they have foisted on the American people.

Its all starting to unravel, and it couldnt happen soon enough for me!

31. I think you're right. It's Rove who's going nuts.
He thought he had everything wrapped up tight as a drum, and the damn thing is springing leaks, and he doesn't know what to do now! He's not used to losing!

I'm tired of hearing Rove being praised as the greatest political handler of time, and I want him to fall...HARD...the same as I want to see ShrubCo to fall with him.

I hope what we've been seeing in the last few months is an indication that that has begun.

Dept.

But sweets, check out what I wrote about WJC in this thread that asks us to give WJC a(nother) break (do you agree?):
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x3889737

When the breaks are counted up, we gave him the biggest ones

of all time. We stuck by him even when he squandered being in the WH, putting his own and the girl's selfishness ahead of our interests and agenda, giving our enemies weapons and advantages to use against us. The sting of the disappointment has faded for me, I'm not begrudging now, but I'd like for him to let us proceed with our agenda and 1) help us where he can, 2) not get in the way, and 3) certainly not even NEED any more breaks from us. The last line from Primary Colors says it for me (paraphrasing): "O.K., we won it for you. Don't go breaking our hearts." He did. And Heartbreakers tend to be repeaters.

35. Soon he'll have to reveal his real lie: We did invade Iraq because of
9/11, but here's what he didn't want to have to tell us: The reason we invaded was to create our own colony in the area so we could try to keep an eye on or control all arab countries in a pathetic attempt to stop all arab terrorists.

So, he'll soon reveal that the plan was to de-stabilise and colonize Iraq and many other countries in the area permanently.

That's why we can leave now: We'll never agree to this level of war permanantly.
