Bob Costas made a complete fool of himself last night

Little phony replaced big phony Larry King interviewing phenomenal actress/activist Vanessa Redgrave.

Costas repeated Bush administration talking points regarding the 'war on terror' whenever he had a chance, sounding like Scott McClellan most of time. He labeled Redgrave as 'far-left'.

She destroyed him, with the usual class. Redgrave said that there's nothing far-left about upholding the rule of law, which the US and Britain constantly break.

CNN put Costas on to face a brilliant woman like Vanessa probably because he's not as dumb as Larry King, but the humiliation was just as stunning.

i only saw the end where the discussion was about acting. i guess they gave bob marching orders during the big break in the show because there was no political talk after that.
