1. That is why when people say what are Dems doing, I say they
are fighting this on multiple fronts - Dems in the Senate fighting Bolton and it is all tied together.

3. Exactly! Reid, Kerry, Boxer, et al. are refusing to budge on Bolton...
One wonders what's in that information that the Dems have requested from the State Dept. re: Bolton.

Me thinks it be very damaging...

2. I think that Bolton should be the first one that the Democrats
use to say "NO MORE FIXING THE FACTS".

We don't care if he has been harsh on underlings or the U.N.

It looks like he cooks the facts and we are sick of it. Let's nominate an honest person and even if his/her views contradict ours, at least we can argue with opponents we respect.

4. There is that...
then there is the trail back to our actions per the attempt to get UN support via a second vote - but when it was clear we couldn't as the Security Council wanted more time for inspections - boom - have to invade now - can't wait.

And how did we know that we wouldn't get the vote? We were illegally wire tapping various ambassadors on the Security Council.

Point being - not just Bolton that plays into this story... but also what they want Bolton to do now... blow up the UN (figuratively) - to remove the obstacle to our neocons dreams of grandeur...

5. I think the Democrats should come out with there own Memo
stating that until we have a clear understanding on what transpired during the rush to war, what part Bolton played, what part American oil companies played, what the truth was and what the motives were. We will not participate in consent to nomination of appointments or approve legislative matters that set policy that concern Americas vital interests and homeland security. This is a fact finding delay to move America forward and to bring piece and security to it's citizens.

6. That won't happen, but I think
that's a GREAT idea! Our Dems have cause to withhold everything, from legislation to confirmations, until this admin comes clean. (Cold day in hell)

7. Exactly. Kerry and Reid are both on that aspect, and I think Kerry's
letter of inquiry to Bush on the DSM is being timed to knock Bolton out, too. I can't imagine why any other Dem would be reluctant to sign it.

8. Now Senator Harry Reid, why don't you take up the fight?
Take this evidence before the Senate floor and start pounding the pavement!
