Two questions for all Democratic Iraq hawks and "stay the coursers"

And other than sweeping up the mess a bit before we leave -- a very limited job that could be at least partially off-loaded on other countries and international organizations with ease -- what the fuck are we doing over there now?

1. It'll be interesting to see the answers you get.
I'm utterly mystified by people who say "well, we're there, so we have so stay until we get the job done."

WHAT fucking job? I want to know what stickdog wants to know.

2. And on a less confrontational tack
What measure will determine that it's time to leave? Another "free" election? "Control" over a certain percentage of the country? Sufficient numbers of "trained" Iraqis to administer and manage their own security?

6. Christ, I hate to say it, but you may be right.
"Generational" being the operative and frightening word.

8. well...
my own personal opinion is that we should "stay the course" but only if the course answers all of the timetable questions that have been posed here.
