Anyone else not able to pull up Google?

5. Google Toolbar is great!

But only the standard setup. Don't install the page rank stuff or anything that requires that it track your browsing trail. Otherwise, it's very useful and stops spams to boot.

8. FYI - virus...

...took over my host file so that Google and any other search engine would redirect to another site.

Just deleted the host file and everything is back to normal.

12. You can get kicked off google & yahoo if you use web position

gold or other automatic ranking checkers to check the rankings of a web site. I've been kicked out for a day or two myself for doing that....
