1. Campaign Song: Put Your Biscuits In The Oven & Your Buns In Bed
I love Kinky...I know he's long been thinking of running and has floated the idea with his buddy Imus for a while. From what I recall, he wants to be an Independent/Liberatarian type...and age has gotten old Kinky a bit crusty (not as bad as Charlie Daneiels) where wingnut stuff pops out now and then.

But then I think he'd be the Jesse Ventura of Texas, and the campaign appearances and music should be lots of fun. I couldn't think of a finer state for this man to run in. Run, Kinky Run!!!

6. I Have Been HOPING Kinky Would Run
I wish I was still a Texas resident, because I'd vote for Kinky...in a New York minute, too!

I've met Kinky before, he's a pretty much down-to-earth salt-of-the-land kind of guy...a straight talker and a straight shooter. He'll tell it like it is. He really would be the Texas version of Jesse Ventura.

Incidentally, the thing I admired most about Kinky is that he is doing something I only wish I could...and, if I won enough in the lottery, I would. He runs a no-kill shelter for dogs, down near San Antone.

I've always said, if I won enough in the lottery to make me set-for-life, I would open a no-kill shelter for dogs, and spend the rest of my life just caring for dogs.

So Kinky gets points with me for his dog ranch!

Plus, I kinda like a straight talker and a straight shooter, who'll just come straight out and say what it is! And Kinky's that kinda guy.
