Got onto my local talk radio station to defend Durbin

I was the last caller on the Colin McEnroe & Bruce Stevens show on WTIC AM 1080 in Hartford, CT. The previous caller, a Freeperesque guy named Victor, repeated the RW talking points on Gitmo on how the "torture" was having to listen to Christina Aguilera & having their air conditioning turned off and basically he demanded that Durbin get shot for treason for comparing it to Hitler. (Well, not that extreme... but, you get the idea!)

Time was running out on the show, so my call basically asked if the previous caller was similarly outraged by Sen. Santorum's comments from a few weeks back comparing Democratic tactics regarding the nuclear option to Hitler, or if he was similarly outraged when Tom DeLay compared the EPA to the Gestapo...

The hosts were on my side on this one, as they are left of center show.
