And I think criticism of the VIDEO and her PERFORMANCE on it is fair game since it's a stump ad, perhaps you might want to point out that this is a campaign ad by Haddassah for her husband. In that context, I don't think people will get the impression you're criticizing some random video of Lieberman's wife. In any case, I thought it was typically insincere campaign tripe. She seems OK but needs to polish up on seeming less rehearsed.

I really don't understand this whole (Wive's are not fair game) crap. Does everyone think that presidents and wanna-be-presidents don't have any influence from their wives on directions, stands, etc.,? Jesus... Does everyone think they are just kept barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen or something. I would find that insulting.

Was looking at various candidates pages and started with Joe, finding out how much they are putting their spouses on the stump.

15. I think wives and/or family members are fair game to the extent

that they're involved in the campaign, particularly if they've been involved in policy-making or organizations. But comments like "so and so's wife doesn't look like first lady material" are irrelevant cheap shots that have no place in the discourse.
