Hopping into the subway today, I saw two posters with service information for special events this weekend:

4. Used to, until he began lying about antisemetic comments he made

to Nixon. He accused people of lying for claiming he had made the remarks, then when it was proven, played the Reagan defense: "I really don't remember."

That, and his endorsement of George W when he had never endorsed another candidate, sunk him to the Falwell level in my book. He's a liar, an anti-semite, and now a murderer by supporting an illegal war, and continuing to support it after it's been proven Bush lied to start it.

So my respect is gone.

He started the crap of mixing the bullshit up with politics. Nobody is as scummy as Graham.

6. Nothing new

I went to Catholic School just down the street from the Stonewall Inn. I remember some of kids used to ask,
"Sister, what is that place"? "Never mind, never mind", said the Nuns. lol Damn, that was a LONG TIME AGO.

5. Different strokes for different folks

I bet there will be more average Joes at the second event than at the first. MSM focuses on the more colorful people in the crowd.

But the good news for the GLBT community is that this may well be the first parade in which the antigay hecklers will be busy somewhere else.

10. Reminds me of a time about 7 or 8 years ago

when the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Lawrence, Kansas, hosted both a psychic fair and a gun show on the same day. A buddy and I went since we were excited by the prospects of witnessing a New Age gun nut subculture, but lamentably they were being held in different buildings for different crowds.
