He closed the show with a call for action. He wants us to launch a campaign to get Democracy Now on PBS. Can you imagine Amy Goodman anchoring the news hour? This would make a perfect July 4th activity. Is there a more appropriate time to demand media reform and freedom of speech?
Lets picket PBS nationwide on the 4th, in support of the PBS mission and to bring attention to the propaganda being catapulted at us by the Corporate Media. PBS/NPR may be shadows of their former selves but to lose the public airwaves completely is unacceptable. Maybe our show of support will encourage them to fight back against their masters.
Together, we can save Big Bird from Bu$h.

People take back PBS. Excellant idea!!!!

Republicans always try to claim what isn't theirs. They always high-jack somebody else's creativity. PBS has always been impartial and they people love it for what it really is. I barometer for politics. People watch it because they are generally curious and want to really learn. Pukes know that, but see it as a validation that more people tend to lean "Left".

What a compliment, huh? (Intellectually Curious=Liberal)

No wonder Pukes are so ignorant. They can't learn and want everyone else to stay at their level.
