Wow, my opinion got published in a RED state

General Motors Corp. is to lay off 25,000 workers. Ford Motor Co. plans to lay off more than 17,000, and Winn-Dixie eliminates 326 stores with 22,000 jobs. What does our Republican Congress work on? A flag-burning amendment.

By the way, the OP and I got the number wrong. It's 1750 jobs cut, which is obviously horrible, but it's not 17,000.
