Do you believe this? I mean, come on....high school kids who have no choice have to sit and watch them pimp private accounts? If my kid went to this school, I'd be raising hell. This is just WRONG.

White House (AP) President Bush is pitching Maryland high school kids on his Social Security plan today, even as congressional Republicans move to overcome Democratic objections.

The president visited a school in Silver Spring, bringing with him comedian Ben Stein to sing the praises of private retirement accounts. Stein hosted the TV quiz show, "Win Ben Stein's Money.

Maybe it was summer school students, the not so bright ones that failed the regular school year. They would make a perfect audience.

It is almost the end of June. I'm sure the whole thing is staged anyway; they wouldn't allow a progressive kid in there.

3. That school is a magnet school

Lots of smart kids go there along with a large minority for whom this is the local school. It's in a pretty liberal area and would not be openly friendly to Bush.
