A bush-sypathizing relative told me today to "be careful what I write"

It was a revalation. I'm still stunned.

She was giving me every reason why this war - which she hasn't ever really supported - isn't really bush's fault, and that Democrats may have tricked him into it.

Don't get me wrong, this person is truly patriotic, loves this country, and is increasingly agreeable with me on the wrongness bush's war.

So we were talking about that war, and I said he lied, he misled, he's swimming in a river of the blood of innocents, and that I was putting together a detailed response to someone else who claimed bush didn't lie, and that I could show that he did.

And then she said, "be careful what you write, because they will come and get you."

We talked a little about what America and freedom mean, but the conversation drifted, and we were soon talking about other things.

Support bush in spreading "freedom" while watching your step at home.

Just shocked me. Thought I'd share.

Thomas Jefferson was not averse to revolution when and if it was necessary. I do believe that he recommended it periodically. There are different types of revolution. Peaceful, and they kind up which this country was founded.

11. Tim Robbins on AAR today - 'Freedom of speech is like a muscle,

you either use it or you lose it.' (Paraphrase).

Jerry Springer was remarking that he admired Robbins for speaking out against the war, but knew that Robbins' career has suffered for it. Robbins quickly objected, stated that his career was doing great, and then made the remark above.

Springer needs to bone up on what Tim has been up to since the big brouhaha at the baseball hall of infamy that disinvited him to speak on the 10th anniversary of Bull Durham because of his anti-War On Iraq stance.

I'm proud to say that I helped picket that place in April, 2003,in the rain, to let our feelings for Freedom of Speech be known.

24. My Anti Bush Tshirt

I wore this before the election where I used to live (very nice area)and always got very positive comments on it.

I wore it yesterday to the grocery store where I now live (less affluent). The woman at the register stopped in the middle of ringing up my order to say, "I don't like your shirt." I said nothing to her in response except to smile as hard as I could. She then said to me, "Well, maybe I shouldn't be saying that." I just kept smiling at her and not saying a word the entire time she bagged the groceries.

As I was pushing my cart out the door, she waved at me and smiled, "Have a nice day." I just smiled back at her.
