and, damn it, they've got to stop apologizing for telling the truth.
As for other Dems, they've got to stop insisting that Dems apologize for telling the truth. It's a sign of the bizarro world we're living in that people apologize for telling the truth while others rest on the laurels they've earned by lying.
The Democratic Party leadership lately reminds me of a chicken with its head cut off: flopping in forty different directions. They can't decide on one course so, what the hell? Let's try 'em all.
Do you think Bill Frist would get on the floor of the Senate and say, "Karl Rove doesn't speak for me"? Hell no... and Rove is a liar.
There is going to have to come a time when Democrats - all Democrats - will need to realize this single, immutable fact:
We are right. They are wrong. There is no triumph in being right if you're constantly apologizing for it.
Otherwise, come 2006 and 2008, this particular chicken is going to be served as the main course at the GOP victory dinner.
