but basically he is saying that people are fed up with repubs and he will fight repubes wherever he has to. Also, he mentioned that he wants health care for all, strong defense that works in cooperation with other nations,"not spit on them." He said he has seen the "poor" referenced in the Bible 300+ times but never once saw gay marriage so he doesn't understand the obession with that. More as the show goes on.

fuck this fear shit-it's been so long since progressive ideas like raising the minimum wage, health insurance, protecting jobs, and others were remotely on the table, that americans have started to take the fact that they won't be discussed as gospel

it's time to change that. think fdr in '32. we need to promote a new way of thinking. a paradigm shift in governement, where citizens feel like they can have a say and aren't drowned out by multinational corporations. nader saw it in 2000, but didn't have the mic. dean was warming to it just before the media smeared him in '04. i think it high time we use the message the GOP and the BFEE is so damned afraid of - populist kitchen table economics and basic workers rights

i just talked to dnc tonight. told them every time a dem says something brave, and they are attacked by repug or media i am sending a contribution of 20.01 to let them know they are supported. did it with dean, should have done it with durbin. the woman loved the idea. she knew about du too

He made our party's polices and principals his message and I think he came accross very, very well. He slammed the republicans, but in a constructive way.
