OK, so would Rove and his supporters think that THIS would be OK to say?

Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and saw it as an opportunity to rake in huge amounts of money by attacking Iraq for no reason and giving the billion-dollar reconstruction contracts to their rich supporters, paid for by Iraq's oil money; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to go after the people that organized and funded the attack, and eliminate them and their training grounds.

Let me just put this in fairly simple terms: Al Jazeera now broadcasts the reported abuses at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay - abuses that conservatives apparently feel are acceptable - certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of conservatives.

Now, I don't believe that conservatives really feel this way at all. Some do, I'm sure. People who support this administration and the war in Iraq, I'd guess. But that just shows the stupidity or Rove's comments
