explain:CCTV footage from INSIDE a US base end up on al-qaeda site??

the author is a british journalist that claims to track al-qaeda on the web.
it is his claim that this will raise questions about base security surprises me,the idea that al-qaeda runs security at US bases amazes me.
does anyone else find it credible that arab locals (or foreign fighters??) have access to the CCTV in a US base?
