CNN: "Rove refuse to apologize for tough remarks about Democrats"
Hey CNN, the Democrats aren't mad that Karl Rove made "tough" remarks. Democrats are mad because Karl Rove LIED about Democratic support for the "War on Terror".

2. The media seems to have decided this is no big deal. I wish the
DNC would use the anger the Democrats have about his comments to raise some money to win in 2006.

Let's make the anger productive.

3. Right you are. It's amazing how ingrained the support
for bushco is in the MSM.

Rove made some "tough remarks," rather than "spewing repugnant lies."

Bush has a "bold" plan for Iraq, not "an idiotic self-serving agenda to destroy America."

Last night I saw a CNN graphic on Cheney's "final throes" comment: it pictured Cheney and the words "standing firm." That's in sharp contrast to "clueless and gutless" - a much more succinct description of Cheney and his world view, IMHO.

Yep, everything the Rs do is bold, unwavering, firm, principled blah blah blah. The Ds are troubled, uncentered, searching, infighting, blah blah blah.

And the MSM enables the RW spin all the way.

4. He should be fired.
I'm still angry and I think many others are also. The country cannot be run by an administration which hates half of it's citizens. Fire Karl Rove!

5. "tough remarks"
Yet when a Democrat speaks his or her mind, it's an "attack."

Fuck the media.

6. Rove's clever calculation...
Rove's defenders are using the fact that he didn't mention "democrats" by name, only "liberals", as a way to deny that he was attacking Dems.

7. I just got off the phone with the White House.
I left a message with a very nice volunteer to the effect that I was furious that Karl Rove could say something so despicable and untrue. I was so angry, I could barely talk, and I assured the volunteer that I was in no way angry with her. I told her I thought Rove should be fired, and that THIS Liberal Christian Gulf War vet was tired of fat, worthless assholes like Rove spewing lies and hatred on Uncle Sam's dime. I told her I thought Turd Blossom should be fired.

I'm not holding my breath though.

8. Democrats need to take the gloves off
It's long past time to start using the "L" word.

Rove is an occupational liar who relishes his job.

Then there are those he serves. The regime has told more lies about Iraq than truths. The reasons they gave for invading Iraq were lies and they knew they were lies. The cost of these lives can be measured in human life. These lies were a betrayal of public trust that warrant impeachment and removal from office.

11. suggesting that liberals wanted to give therapy to terrorists
is not "tough talk" it is absurd. Wtf was that based upon - where is the evidence of that? Why did no one ask him or McClellan that question.

At least Durbin - when his words are read/heard in context - are based on actual events ... agree or disagree they weren't just pulled out of thin air to be insulting and to try to perpetuate some caricature of the opposition.

15. In Fairness, McClellan was Questioned On That... He Just Chose To Pretend
That he was in another universe or something. Scott's M.O. is to get asked one question, and then to talk about a subject that may or may not be related, and then to repeat the same thing over and over until the questioner finally gives up:

Q Scott, you ask us oftentimes for specifics -- does Karl have in mind a particular Democratic leader who suggested therapy for the folks who attacked on 9/11?

MR. McCLELLAN: I think you can look at his remarks, Mark.

Q He didn't mention any names, and I'm asking you if you know.

MR. McCLELLAN: I know, so you should go look at your remarks.

Q So in other words, there are no --

MR. McCLELLAN: Clearly, there are people who have taken a different approach, and I don't think we need to get into names.

Q But someone who specifically has suggested therapy?

MR. McCLELLAN: Mark, if you want to make more than it was, then you're welcome to, but I think you should go back and look at his remarks. I didn't see his remarks.

Q He didn't name any names, which is why I'm asking you.

MR. McCLELLAN: Yes, and you can go back and look at his remarks and see for yourself what it says.

Scotty is such a twerp... and frankly much worse than Ari - for bushco that is - Ari was a little more smooth in his not answering the questions.

Apologizing for attacking your political opponents is weak and counterproductive. Just punch back when they demand it!

I'd never apologize for attacking him. I would never expct him to do so for attacking me!

I WON'T APOLOGIZE FOR THIS GRAPHIC EITHER YOU FAT, GREEDY, POWER CRAZED, FREAK!!!
