Tell me what you think. I'll post about my suspicion (or perhaps confusion) later...

2. There is an outside chance that
a meteor will land on Chicago tomorrow
the world was created 10 minutes ago along with false memories for everyone
the moon landing was faked
DSM are fake.

I'm not betting on any of them.

4. I doubt it. For one the Blair Cabal has not once claimed it was.
And IIRC has alluded to it as if it was real yet just an opinion", ie. real but not as accurate as we think.

6. If they are
then a number of people high up in the British Government are participating in the hoax.
Even the Bush administration isn't claiming that they're fakes. They've tried to ignore, ridicule, and spin them but, as far as i know, they haven't tried to question their authenticity, at least not directly.
The documents are, however, being questioned by people who may (or may not) be surrogates for Bushco. If they are surrogates it just shows that the White house is uncomfortable with issuing direct denials and would rather have others sowing confusion; now why would that be?

7. None.
Bush and Blair responded to them together thus acknowledging their existence and authenticity.

The DSMs came out in England just before the elections. Blair got absolutely slammed for them and they'll likely short circuit his political career. Under this kind of pressure, don't you think Blair would've come out and said the DSMs were fake if that was the case?

No one who participated in the meetings on which the DSMs are based has EVER claimed that they were fake or inaccurate. Not even anyone in the Bush camp has dared to say that...notice that they only question their interpretation, not their actual veracity.

11. Blair said they were genuine
Remember, he doesn't have a Rove on his side. One working for the Tories released those minutes in a last minute attempt to unseat Labor, and it did damage them severely.

They're genuine, all right. Bush lied. He knew he was lying all along.

12. No way
they confirm everything I've ever read and learn.

If the DSM was the only evidence, it would be difficult to say wether they are serious or not. But first there were Dozens testimonies, including Paul O'Neill, Richard Clarke, Karen Kwiatkowsky, Joe Wilson, Hans Blix, Scott Ritter, Claire Short, Robin Cook and on and on...
And second there is no one besides Limbaugh who claim them false...

and to build this story. Folks these memos were leaked just before the
British election and it cost Blair's party (Labour) dearly. Labour lost 47 seats and this memo was very damaging just before the election. He (Blair) has never said they were fake.

14. WMD are fake, reasons for invading Iraq are fake, not leaving Iraq is fake
After everything is known, they keep hammering "stay the course" and will never leave Iraq. Build military bases, stay forever, control the oil.

If they cared one whit about Iraq, they'd leave. If they cared one whit about US soldiers, they'd bring them home from an obvious disaster.

They are perpetuating and obvious disaster. Obviously, they are gaining something enormous in doing so, to continue doing something so dramatically unpopular without response or responsibility to the US public.

Judge by their actions. They wanted to go to Iraq, they want to stay in Iraq. How much more does anyone need?

15. Listening to Rush Limbaugh will surely confuse you.
He's the only one saying they are fake.

Perhaps you should share your opinion NOW!

Me and my 2,006 posts.

It's not so much the "facts are fixed" memo as the other ones. They seem... contradictory, almost. And I have a very, very hard time Wolfowitz cares one bit whether or not Iraqi generals have "blood on their hands" or about bringing democracy to the country.

16. How much fakery can there be? It doesn't make sense that
everything is fake if you're part of the "reality-based community"--which I am.
