Florida Police Taser another kid
I guess the cops down there arent strong enough to handcuff and bind a 13 year old girl.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/06/24/national/main703941.shtml

AP) The sheriff in Bonita Springs, Florida, says a deputy had to use a Taser early yesterday to subdue a drunken 13-year-old girl who was pitching a fit in a hospital.

The Lee County Sheriff's office says the deputy had charged the child with loitering after spotting her wandering the streets at nearly 3 a.m. With her mother's permission, he took her to a hospital, where tests showed the four-foot-nine, 90-pound girl was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The sheriff's office says her blood-alcohol level registered .175 percent.

The sheriff's report says the deputy Tasered the girl after she attacked him and the nurses, kicking, scratching and screaming.

A sheriff's spokeswoman says, "Just because she's 13 doesn't mean she can't harm somebody."

The Naples Daily News reports the girl now faces a string of charges.

2. Not even that drunk.
I wonder how the cops would feel if somebody tasered their 13 year old daughters.

3. I've always been pretty much pro-cop, but that is beginning to change
they have a shitty job and generally they do it pretty well. But this crap of cops thinking an 82-year old man or a 13 year old girl are too much to handle and in need of some taze has got to stop.

The previous poster is right--they are training to become a brutal federal force. Maybe Liddy was more prophetic than we thought.
