Six US soldiers killed! Stock Market Falling. Where's Karl Rove today?
Taking responsibility? comforting the families or pointing his dirty little finger at Americans and blaming us for his failure?

A suicide car bomber slammed into a 7-ton U.S. military vehicle in Fallujah, killing five Marines and a Navy sailor, Marine Corps sources told NBC News, adding that at least three of the dead were female Marines and that 13 others were wounded.

2. Rove's busy finding out which of the 6 killed were Rs
so he can honor them as true Americans. Any Ds in the dead will have to do with a night trip to Dover and a cut in their combat death pay.

3. I'm sorry to hear it. But, yeah, you're right. It was Roves anti-American
comments and sentiment that caused this to happen, because it encouraged the resistance.

4. Question
This is the second or third 'Navy sailor' to be killed in the last couple of weeks. I suspect these Navy sailor are actually SEALs. Is that a wise assumption? Why would a regular sailor be riding around with combat troops?

7. Yes, one of my former students was back from a second tour
in Iraq. Navy seal. He said the carnage was terrible. Traveled with Marines while over there. He is now going to be stationed in San Diego (thank God).

I asked him where "we" were going next - Syria, Iran? He said no possible way - not enough troops, and too damn tired!

8. Shortages
I think they have been saying for many months that navy personnel sitting in the nearby fleet are being used for the suicide driver lottery. it speaks of shortages that can't be denied but the press is too stupid to pick up on the facts.

Meanwhile private drivers are paid more and also sometimes for driving empty trucks so the taxpayer can be billed for the suicide lottery.

In the flight from reality that the mission is short tens and tens of thousands of troops the rest will be dragged to stretch themselves further by "puzzling" shifts such as these. And the original shortage never gets resolved. And of course everything degrades more.

And military people put up with this kind of chickenhawk leadership after the lessons from the Vietnam war the esteemed chickenhawks ducked.
