1. Must be an awful lot of tanks - explosions are repetitive.
Fireballs up to 50 ft into the air.

10. Ah fuck, that's going to be one hell of a fire
They're going to have to evacuate for blocks around.

Anybody here that lives around that area had better look out for the schrapnel raining down.

Oh man, this could get real bad.

11. FOX is ignoring it
Can't interrupt all those business persons watching Neil Cavuto. Not that they would give a shit about what happens to working people in a factory.

8. Just one more reason why voluntary compliance works best
The businesspersons know their industries better than those clumsy government regulators. The business owners should decide what the regulations should be.

17. Praxair? Shit.
And I needed to order something from them too. Now they're going to be all backed up.

Wouldn't want to be within a hundred miles of that explosion either.

27. Praxair shareholders I'd imagine.
Praxair works with all sorts of flammable and explosive gases. I'm not the least bit surprised they'd blow up sooner or later. Of course there could be something to the media distraction.

28. Praxair? They're my compressed gas supplier!
Does anyone know if there are any reports of casualties at the facility?

I guess I have to look at alternative suppliers now...living and working in Iowa, I have to believe at least some of my stuff comes from that facility...small world...

29. Haven't heard any reports of casualties yet but
It would be suspicious if there weren't any when you look at the size of this incident.

and there are areas that still have tanks they expect the fire to reach.

Some small tanks and stuff hurtling into the air from time to time - like missles.

Lafayette Park area

Misissipi on the East
Park on the South side
Jefferson on the west
Shoto (sp?) on the North side
