7. What are you painting? Is there a theme? Can we hang posters?
I just need to know if there will be a consistent message.

8. Excellent questions. Painting can be considered property damage
while hanging banners (what I did) is more of a nuisance charge (if caught, we weren't).

And we made ours somewhat difficult to remove. :P

10. I'm so Freakin IN!
What I find works VERY well,

ANyone know that Tyvek, construction paper, the stuff
the put on the outside of plywood before shingling?

IT totally rocks-

What DOESn't work too well, is using Duct Tape onto cement
like say for example, underpasses.

What DOES work very well is a tar like solution to paste
the well intentioned message to the cement surface.

14. My site has a lot of
graphic you can use or play with. They are for 8X10 sheets with one per sheet or 4 per sheet.

Click the image below.

You can wheat paste them, tape them or pin them up.

15. Hey, I dig your site! What is the wheat paste, some kinda glue?
Also, I went and measured the stop sign down the street, the letters are 10" high so you can't match font size (not enough room), but there is about a 14X8 inch area above and below the letters to play with.

20. thanks If you have a projector,
you can trace some of the bush images onto larger sheets, then add some appropriate text.

I use the smaller four to the sheet images along sidewalks in heavy traffic areas. I print out several different ones, cut and shuffle them. As I walk I am pasting random images and messages.

Signs of the times
Freeway Blogger gives Bay Area drivers something to think about
By Jan Stürmann

So you're stuck in rush hour traffic heading out of San Francisco on Highway 101, surrounded by five lanes of fellow commuters flipping fingers, flossing teeth, or yakking on cell phones. Viacom and Clear Channel billboards promise escape, seduction, and the latest widget. You dull the tedium by tuning into rant radio or NPR platitudes.

Then you look up and see a large man with unruly hair and dark glasses running across a pedestrian overpass. He fights the wind for possession of a 6-by-10-foot cardboard sign. You try to read the letters but can't. As he stops above you and fastens the sign to the fence, the big black letters pop into focus: "Halliburton: Thanks for All the Money! Sorry About Your Kids."

For each minute this sign remains up, a hundred commuters like you will be exposed to the viral message of a man who calls himself Freeway Blogger.
