WW II History Question: What Percent of US Troops were drafted?

I had the impression it was most of them. Anyone have any good links or information on this?

1. I read somewhere that Vietnam

actually had a higher rate of enlistees than WWII. I think it was in an article called "The 10 myths of the Vietnam War"-sorry I didn't google before posting.

that the bulk of the military was still conscripts.
