Downing Street memos come to the northland

Finally, the Anchorage Daily News carried a full two-page report on the Downing Street memos in this morning's Opinions section, including multiple excerpts from several different memos and a big color photo of John Conyers and the delegation delivering the letter and petition. This story will not go away.

just wish they would have covered this from square one.

2. Well, here in the Sunday paper it's usually where they put

all the big investigative reporting type things. These were two big AP stories which I think were discussed here last week or so, although I'm not sure if it's the same AP stories. There's a big headline 'EAGER TO FIGHT - Secret notes reveal British skepticism over Bush's Iraq war rationale' over an 8x10 pic of ** and Tony Blair at the WH, with Blair glancing sidewise at **. Under that there's 15 damning excerpts, then another article 'Memos show strong doubts.' and there's also seven references to Web articles.
