Franken really need to go to guest hosts...
I hate these best of weeks!!!

All these Supreme court decisions, Roves foot in mouth disease etc., and nothing on Franken about it.

They outta try and convince COnason to come on when they are off!!!

1. They had Conason for a few days when Al was off a while back...
and he was truly awesome!

I think having Conason as the go-to guest host for these "off" weeks would be smart, and so much better for us!

I love Joe Conason!

4. Best Week Ever Reruns
Edited on Mon Jun-27-05 12:20 PM by Moochy
Hey everybody, lets get topical from two-three weeks ago!

Best of the old news, what a concept!

I agree, get some one to fill in for Franken, he's not producing "instant classics" worthy of a "Best of" show.

I mean he's funny and topical sometimes, and others not. It's like watching Best Week Ever Reruns. :shudder:

5. Even if they had to get a different host each day...
Diane Rehm on NPR is often out with her vocal cord problem, and she always has gust hosts...I really don't see whay Franken doesn't do that as well...

6. I think that's a great idea...
I only tune into Franken's show on Fridays specifically for Conasan.

when Franken is gone. I know that they are different, ideologically, but news must be fresh.

Guest hosts would be good too.

Maybe he could allow some of the young folks who work for him to fill in. I think it would be great experience for all.

I think that the righties count on the libs to take time off during the summer. That's when they'll pull off their filthiest misdeeds. These ghouls never take a vacation.
