Christian Coalition LIVID with Sandra Day-O and the "tyrannical" Supremes

WASHINGTON, June 27 /Christian Wire Service/ -- The Christian Coalition of America condemns today's decision by the Supreme Court today to not allow the 10 Commandments in courthouses by a 5-4 margin. Justice Sandra Day O'Connor joined the liberals on the court in not allowing the 10 Commandments to be displayed amongst other foundations of American law in their decision on the McCreary County vs. ACLU of Kentucky." Justice Anthony Kennedy joined the 3 conservatives on the bench who issued a strong dissent.

Robert Combs, President of the Christian Coalition of America said, "After over 40 years of tyrannical decisions emanating from the United States Supreme Court and most of the Supreme Court justices being selected by Republican presidents during that time, it is long past time for justices who are being appointed to the Supreme Court to respect the United States Constitution. Today's Supreme Court decision on the 10 Commandments showed once again that the nation's top court is completely out of step with the American people. This must change. Today's flawed 10 Commandments decision by the Supreme Court makes the confirmation of strict constructionists to that court more important than ever. "

Recently the Christian Coalition announced the formation of its Judicial Task Force with chairmen in every state in the country, created to ensure that the U.S. Senate allows fair "up or down" votes on all nominees to the federal judiciary. In anticipation of a pending vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court and in light of past Senate obstruction and filibusters, it is critical that pro-life and pro-family Americans speak up and have their voices heard in this process.

1. It is from the old testament, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT
2. Thou shall not kill applys to them also
3. Thou shall not covet that neighbors property, also includes other country's oil fields
4. Honor thy father and mother also applys to the way Tom Delay treats his mother. He should talk to her
5. Thou shall not steal, applys to elections, as well as everything else the republicans have done
6. The Sabbath begins at sunset on Friday, NOT on Sunday

9. Unfortunately the court didn't go far enough

I have always been a staunch supporter of the 1st Amendment freedom of religion but have monitored the fundamentalist for over 30 years as I have always considered them a dangerous group.

However, in recent years with their full fledged assault on the Constitution and the form of government we enjoy here I have had to rethink that position. Maybe Marx was right after all and someday the court will outlaw the christian religion as being detrimental to well being and security of society. It's not a hard argument to make when one fully considers the 1700 plus years of conflict, murder, and torture that christianity has visited on humanity, not to mention the neurosis it has inflicted on whole cultures.

I'm sure it won't be in my lifetime but hopefully someday it will happen, before we destroy ourselves with it, and man can finally move up and out of his propensity for stone age superstitious belief systems. It would certainly be a turning point in our evolution.
