Bush has hastened the day of our economic and military collapse.
Our moral collapse has been a fact for along time. Since the beginning of the Vietnam War, our economic decline has been set in motion.Bush has made sure that the day when we will become beggar nation is quicker than it should be. Each one of our vaunted industrial giants is on terminal life support.IBM,GM, Ford, are just some examples.

In the service industries, every single service like Banking,Law,Accounting, Medicine is headed for overseas destinations never to return.

Militarily, our weakness is going to be enhanced by our economic bankruptcy. And our moral bankruptcy is making our young people question the wisdom of going to fight to keep up the political
fortunes of corrupt men like Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld.

The walls are coming tumbling down.

2. Oh yeah...and with a futurist view,
allow me to take your premise a step further.

With the rapidly increasing speed towards a
"Global Corporate Power Structure" the military
will follow suit, what I mean by that is that the "Global Military," in
service to the Global Empire, the forces will increasingly include
members from global sources. The global military will be designed
to protect global corporate interests which already have
nothing to do with Americans.
Follow me?
In short what I am trying to say is that eventually, I don't
think the American military will exist, at least not in
the way we think of it. It may still be called the
"American Military," but there is abundant documentation
of an increasing number of enlistments of people from
other countries given the promise of citizenship, etc...
I think that trend will increase.
