China WILL eat our lunch. We gave them the 'menu', sent them 'cooks', bought the 'fixins'..and NOW we are surprised that they are gourmets?


China would have eventually come to the place they occupy, BUt it wuld have taken them a while, and they would have had to struggle a bit more.

Our "capitalists" got greedy and saw that HUGE cheap-labor-market and could not resist the temptation.

Did anyone in their right mind think that China would NOT use some of their new-found wealth to beef up their military? or to overtake us in manufacturing?

We love sports metaphors here in the good ole USofA.. Would a struggling baseball team who always get beaten by the yankees, NOT beef up their lineup if they suddenly came into some real money?

Would it somehow be 'unfair' if they were no longer 'losers', and had had the audacity to challenge the Yankees?

WHY do we feel that WE are the ONLY ones who are allowed to have nukes, to have the biggest military, to invade anywhere, anytime?

Who DIED and made US GOD? (don't say Jesus..he knew NOTHING about us)

We have NO room for criticism of China now. When WE were on the rise, we supplanted other "empires".

That's the way it works, folks.. When you get to the top, there are only two choices..

Remember Poppy was Ambassador to China in the early 70s, and brother Prescott (son of, just like GHWB) was president of something called the US-China Chamber of Commerce.
