That however doesn't prevent them from operating as responsible corporate citizens either.

I know Gates is a Pub, but he and his copany does a whole lot for charity too!

I think the people you are talking about are WM, and companies like them who aren't as much interested in taking care of people as they are linking their own pockets.

8. I think it can be

depending on the corporate culture itself. How it treats its employees, its customers, and the kinds of things it does to give back to the community it serves.

These things aren't always apparent to the 'bottom line' but, in the long run, I think being a responsible, concerned corporate "citizen" is to their advantage.
