"Edward Klein, who developed a cottage industry writing about the Kennedys, surprised some people with his vicious new bio of Hillary Clinton. But longtime Klein-watchers say they knew conservative bile lurked in the belly of the man who writes Parade magazine's "Personality Parade" under the name Walter Scott.
Asked by a Parade reader what he thought of ABC's "Desperate Housewives," Klein/Scott said, "We're not a fan of the prime-time soap, which glamorizes infidelity and promiscuity."
Asked about Jesse Jackson's involvement in the Terri Schiavo and Michael Jackson cases, he replied, "We don't want to encourage the Reverend Jackson's craving for publicity, the less said the better."
Remember in Parade (the Sunday supplemental magazine in most newspapers) when commenting on Chelsea Clinton being seen at social functions it said "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". There were always catty remarks about Democrats. Now we know the same Ed Klein who wrote that hate-filled polemic about Senator Clinton writes under the pseudonym of Walter Scott. What vile nasty piece of work he is. Will never read Parade the same again. Will never read Parade.
