A fund has been established for the family of Sgt. 1st Class Steven Langmack, who died in Iraq May 31. Langmack, 33, grew up in southeast Seattle and had served in the military for 15 years. He had been stationed in Iraq for about two months when he was shot in combat in Al Qaim. He was assigned to the U.S. Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, N.C., and lived near there on a farm with his wife and two sons. Donations can be made to the SFC Steve Langmack Benevolent Fund at any Bank of America branch.
