they NEVER miss an opportunity to say, 'We grieve over every life lost'
kkkondi, rummy, bushy, cheney, all of them make SURE whenever they speak about the fucked up failure of a war to insert the important buzz words.

"I grieve over the death of every single soldier" "we extend our condolences to the families of the fallen" "it's tough comforting the mother's of our fallen heroes" fuck.

yet NO mention is ever made of the hundreds of thousands of innocent iraqis.

war pig psychopaths and sociopaths, like the BTK killer, do not possess the emotions of empathy, compassion, regret, guilt, remorse, and humanity that the rest of us do.

so when they speak about the war they've wrought, they MUST use the soothing, mandatory, obligatory, token buzz phrase, 'we grieve over every life sacrificed'.

they do not have grief in them. Bomb. Torture. Kill. and say you grieve.

2. That is what they mean by "honoring their service"
These people are beneath contempt. They need to go to a few of the funerals and see how real Americans grieve. Sacrifice is totally unknown to them.

4. I was listening to Morning Sedition on AAR while I was rush hour blogging
this morning, and one of the guests said over 700 Iraqis have been killed in Baghdad alone this month.

Freedom's on the march.

5. It's just one of many empty phrases for them
just like

"progress is being made"

"in it's last throes"

"a clear strategy for success"

7. I've always laughed at that line.
It's so fucking pathetic. I always wish that someone would call them on this one and simply ask "How can you belittle the suffering of thousands of bereft by comparing whatever grieving you've done to the grieving of a mother who lost a child? Have you no shame?
