So now BushCO is withholding the Kay report on Iraq’s nonexistent WMD. Once again, politically damaging truths are suppressed. It must be a case of National Security.
Gee, I wonder if we’d be getting flogged with this report if even a particle of WMD material were found in Iraq. How will BushCo’s media foot soldiers spin this? Oh, that's right, it was never about the actual weapons. Silly me. It was about the "intent" to develop WMD "programs."
Nevermind.
Officials to Get Update on Iraq WMD Hunt
By JOHN J. LUMPKIN, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON - The man in charge of the hunt for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq is briefing senior intelligence officials in Washington this week but the public may not be told of his findings right away.
CIA adviser David Kay is expected to complete his progress report to agency Director George J. Tenet soon, U.S. officials said.
National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice suggested there are no plans to release Kay's findings immediately. There had been expectations in Washington that the report would come out this month.
